A new Vision Quest rumor is good news for WandaVision fans who are anxiously waiting for the new MCU show.
Vision Quest is a forthcoming Marvel Television series that will see Paul Bettany once again reprise his role as Vision. Serving as a spin-off from 2021’s WandaVision, the show is created by Terry Matalas for Disney+.
What is the new Vision Quest rumor?
While Vision Quest won’t premiere until 2026, there’s already some chatter online that the show may receive a second season. Marvel Multiverse reported that it could have a Season 2, which scooper Daniel Richtman shared and commented, “It could, yes.”

Vision Quest has not been officially renewed by Marvel at this time, meaning that this is just a rumor at this time and should be treated as such. It likely won’t be until around the show’s premiere that some firmer news about a potential second season arrives.
Having said that, there have also been numerous reports and rumors that Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff will return to the MCU at some point in the near future, potentially in either Marvel Studios‘ Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars. Assuming that Season 2 wouldn’t arrive until after Avengers: Secret Wars, that could pave the way for a reunion between Vision and Wanda. This, however, is once again just speculation and should not be treated as fact.
In addition to Bettany, the cast of the first season of Vision Quest includes James Spader as Ultron, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, Ruaridh Mollica as Tucker, T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., and Faran Tahir as Raza.
Vision Quest is expected to arrive on Disney+ next year, though an exact premiere date has not yet been announced. WandaVision, meanwhile, is currently available to watch on the streaming service.
